Porcelain Veneers

Renewed smile in only
3 appointments.
Dental veneers, also known as Dental Contact Lenses, are ultra-thin, high-strength veneers that adhere to the tooth surface.

Porcelain Veneers can correct the shape, size, color, and/or positioning of teeth, and can also be used to replace old, unaesthetic restorations in front teeth.

Although they have a minimum thickness (between 0.2 and 0.5mm), they are extremely resistant once they adhere to the dental structure, allowing you to redesign a smile in the most aesthetic and conservative manner possible.

There are different types of dental veneers, but, at our Clinic, we only use Porcelain Veneers, the only material that allows for a long-lasting and permanent result. With annual control and careful hygiene, its duration has no time limit.

Did you know that...

Veneers have been used since 1928? Although they are part of the most used aesthetic procedures in Dentistry today, veneers have been used for almost a century. The pioneer was Dr. Charles Pincus, the precursor of laminated veneers.

The American dentist used this technique to improve the appearance of the smiles of many movie actors, which is also why dental veneers are associated with a “Hollywood Smile.”

    FAQs

Is the placement of veneers painful?

The placement of veneers is totally painless. We perform the diagnosis, planning, and application in 2 to 3 appointments, with little or no dental wear.

Are the veneers fragile? Do they break easily?

No. Despite being ultra-thin – between 0.2 and 0.5 mm – veneers are super-strong after bonding to the tooth surface. They fuse perfectly with the tooth enamel, replicating the natural look of the rest of the dentition.

Are veneers forever? Do they change over time?

We only use ceramic/porcelain veneers, which are more durable when compared to resin veneers. With good hygiene care and a regular check-up in our Clinic, they last as long as your teeth.

Since they are made of porcelain, the most durable and resistant material on the market, they don’t lose their color or change the shape they were originally designed for, as long as they are taken care of and correctly cleaned, just like any other tooth.

How many veneers will I need?

This is a question that we can only answer with total precision after the evaluation consultation. Depending on the desired final result, 1, 2, 6, up to 12 or 14 veneers can be used per jaw. It all depends on the initial situation, the type of correction that is intended, and the width of the smile itself.

Can I correct crooked teeth with veneers?

Each case is a case and needs a complete evaluation.

In some situations, we can use veneers to correct small imperfections in the position of the teeth. In other cases, where the smile alignment is more extensive, we recommend orthodontic treatment with Invisible Aligners or a previous orthodontic treatment combined with the placement of dental veneers already with the teeth in the proper positions.

I would like to move forward. Do you offer payment plans?

We have several payment methods at our Clinic, to be agreed upon with the patient, including payment plans of 24 or 36 months.
